🏆 Crime Rankings
Classifications by crime level in Spain
Crime rankings allow an objective comparison of security across different regions of Spain. Based on official data from the Ministry of Interior, these rankings show both absolute number of offenses and rate per 100,000 inhabitants.
The safest provinces in Spain in 2024 are generally territories with low population density such as Teruel, Soria and Cuenca. On the other hand, provinces with the highest number of crimes coincide with large metropolitan areas and tourist zones.
